THANKSGIVING... A day we set aside for giving thanks What exactly is thanks you ask... Is it just another daily task? Is it a holiday we use just to give us permission... To create yet another family tradition? Is it a time we feast on turkey and pies? Could it possibly be a time to put on a disguise? Or is it truly an expression of gratitude... Given with the right attitude? I'll tell you what thanksgiving is to me... It's giving thanks to Christ Jesus, you see. For the blood He shed on the cross for me To save this wretch, and from sin set free. Gathering with family that I, so, love... And giving thanks, for them, to the Lord above. For loved ones who have gone on before... I thank Him that we will be with them again, until forevermore. For the innumerable blessings He has bestowed on me... That's what Thanksgiving is to me!
