This poem is dedicated to a special friend that I had the privilege of getting to know in just a few short days…but the ties that bind us are strong!  #childloss #godisgreater #hopefullhearts

Tragedy seeped into your home
so unexpectedly
The pain it caused inside and out:
physical and mental complexity You rose above your pain and broken bones Fearlessly to face so many unknowns The smile you carried to hide your pain Only to help others find happiness again During your darkest times when you hide your face You find strength in art therapy, your "Jesus Jar" and in God's grace The Lord has blessed you and made your paths bright So that His light will shine through you and give others sight That they may see all the things He can do And just think...for all these things...He chose you!

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
