We love them so much
With all of our hearts
We always have
Right from the start
They take a piece of us with them
When they go away
The pain is indescribable
Oh why can’t they just stay?
The pain is real
And the hurt is strong
But sadly we know
We must continue on
We press on until the end
Without them by our sides
Knowing we’ll be reunited again
Till then, in God’s love we’ll abide
