Thanksgiving time is here again
We gather with family and feast
But is that what it's all about?
Shouldn't we give "thanks"...at least?!
Let's make a list of all the things
we have to be grateful for
Instead of making a Christmas list
and always wanting "more"
We mustn't leave anything out...
List all things great and small
For God has blessed us greatly
and He is Lord of ALL
As we ponder our bountiful blessings,
may our hearts be filled with gratitude
Let us enter His presence with thanksgiving
and with a prayerful attitude
Oh, give thanks to the Lord,
for He is good
In everything give thanks,
as you should
Yes, this is what Thanksgiving time
is all about
To remind us of all our blessings,
no doubt
Let's lift our voices to God,
giving thanks and praise
Not only on Thanksgiving...
but for all our days
Psalm 107:1 Oh, give thanks to the
Lord, For He is good! For His mercy
